Born out of lockdown...

In March 2020 thousands of independent businesses across the country were turned on their heads overnight. Our shop, Cambridge Wine Royston (est. 2005), was one of those businesses.

As independent wine merchants, tasting events are an integral part of our business, and we have proudly brought world-renowned winemakers and distillers to host our tasting evenings for customers for over 15 years.

After setting up an online ordering system and local delivery service, we wanted to find a way to entertain our customers, and continue their wine and spirit tasting journeys.

On 31st March 2020, one week after lockdown was announced, we put our first virtual tasting on sale.

"We didn't realise Royston was so thirsty..."

We have been overwhelmed by the response, and to date have sold over 1000 tasting packs to the people of Royston and the surrounding villages.

Following numerous enquiries from across the UK and cries of “Please can we order a tasting pack to Aberdeen?”, we made the decision to set up a brand new business and start delivering our world-class tasting packs nationally.

In House Tasting is born...

Our tasting packs are just part of the experiences we create. In House Tasting provides on-demand tasting events at the click of a button, or bespoke tastings for your special occasion.

We provide a wealth of information in stimulating, fun tasting packs, to cater for both casual and more conscientious clientele. Our expert virtual tastings are led by industry professionals, and each pack is delivered complete with the finest mixers and a carefully crafted tasting handbook, jam-packed with useful information and interesting content to accompany your drinking experience.

An In House Tasting can be enjoyed in any setting: be it date night or girls night; a hen ‘do or stag party; over Zoom with faraway friends or as a corporate team-building experience. Or even just by yourself, from the comfort of your own home.
